Trados Enterprise | Filter button not available anymore in the Online Editor

I've just noticed that, after a recent update, the Filters button (and therefore the filter function with its settings) is not available anymore in the Online Editor of our Trados Enterprise.

Screenshot of Trados Online Editor showing a list of segments with translation details. The yellow-highlighted sidebar on the right does not include a Filters button.

If you look at the side bar in yellow above, the filter button is not available.
I am pretty sure that at some point I have seen an enable/disable selector, but it completely disappeared when I connected again.

Am I missing something? Can I enable the filter function somewhere?

This is a huge problem for us since we use the Customer Reviewer portal a lot and some customer reviewers are quite used to filter out locked out segments (e.g. 100% and CM segments) to concentrate on newly translated content in their review.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot,

Alessia

Question improvement suggestion: Please provide the exact version of Trados Enterprise you are using and any recent changes made to your system or software that might have affected the filter functionality.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello Alessia,

Step 1: First, ensure that you are logged into the correct account in Trados Live Team, as user permissions can affect the availability of certain features.

Step 2: Check the roles assigned to your user group. Navigate to Users > Groups in your Trados Live Team account, and verify that your role includes access to the Online Editor.

Step 3: If the filter button is still missing, try clearing your browser cache and logging in again. Sometimes, a simple refresh can resolve display issues.

Step 4: If the problem persists, consider trying a different browser or disabling any ad blockers that might interfere with the Online Editor's functionality.

Step 5: If none of these steps work, it may be worth checking if there have been any recent updates or changes to your Trados Enterprise setup that could have affected the filter feature.

Please note that the filtering functions may vary based on the version of Trados Enterprise you are using, and if the feature is not available in the Customer Reviewer portal, it may be a limitation of that specific environment.

I hope this answer addressed your question. If not, please reject the answer, add the question improvement suggestion information, and click the RWS Community AI checkbox on the right to try again.

  • I've checked all the suggested steps and the filter does not work in any of the recently created projects.
I opened a file from a project created a month ago and the filter is there (see yellow highlight below) so I guess it must depend on some recent update.
