You can create a temporary "project" TM and add it to the Translation Engine during project creation. This doesn't add it to the Translation Engine permanently - its only available to the current project

Make sure that you select Update too - this will ensure that the translations get added to your main TM(s) as defined bv the Translation Engine as as the temporary one.

After the project is completed you can export the TM from Trados and then delete it.

A good workaround - I'll bear that in mind.
Still, I'd prefer if Trados could provide a 'built-in' solution.
