Import QA settings to Trados Live

Hi everyone, I know it is possible to import customized QA settings to Trados Studio - is there also such an option for Trados Live? I couldn't find one and would very much like to avoid changing the settings for every project. Or maybe it is possible to change the default? I have considered working with templates but I have too many different engines/file types/language combinations for it to be a viable option.

Any help appreciated.

  • Hey

At this stage there is no import of QA  templates into Trados Live.

The purpose of TL, is to segregate as much as possible into specific modulars, leaving so project templates support bare minimum.

This means engines are managed independently, as well as file types.
Leaving languages (not much of a bother unless you are talking of 10+) and QA being the only configurable parts for a project. Otherwise you can try categorise some of your project templates accordingly.

Then when needed, you call upon the numerous engines and file type settings as you see fit.

Regardless of my "as design" reply, its my hope that some import/export options are available as I do see value in it also

    Have a good day
