Question

I am fairly new to Trados 2022. I am getting the following error message: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. 
 I have looked around and there are far too many suggestions on how to resolve this problem. I tried a couple of solutions but got nowhere. I logged off Trados normally by closing it and the error appeared when I turned it on again and started to translate a small file. Before turning it off, I had translated 10 file (8000 words altogether) and used Deepl connected to Trados. No problem. I don't know what to do and need to use Trados on my desktop fairly quickly. Can someone help, please? Many thanks. Paolo

Paolo Cortucci When are you getting the error, can you explain the context in a bit more detail? Can you use your TM in a different project or open it in the Translation Memory Maintenance UI? There are a few things to explore: 
 
 Check your anti virus and exclusion lists here 
 TM maintenance by following these instructions 
 Are you using a termbase? 
 Is your native file a MS document? 
 Are you getting the error when using Live Preview, if yes please check here 
 Are you getting it when you are preforming a TM update / Finalze, if yes please check here 
 
 I am hoping you can get it resolved by Maintaining your MT and reviewing your Anti Virus
