We use Articulate 360 and Trados 2024.
We have translated Storyline files using the Word export/import feature because of the segmentation issue of the xlf files. We found that is much more efficient.
However, we now have Rise files to translate and do not have a Word export/import option.
The Rise-created xlf file (whether I simply copy the source or put true translations) imports fine in Trados, "imports" back into Rise after translation (supposedly—there is a success message), but the "translated" Rise file is at times empty, the formatting is all wonky, etc. Basically, it is not a working translated file.
Comparing the xlf generated by Rise and the one generated by Trados clearly shows that Trados is adding lots of extra tags.
I have not found any help in the community and was wondering if I missed anything.
I could really use some help as I have a project with 15 languages to process and do not relish inputting the translations manually into Rise (although, at least, I do have a way forward).
I would truly appreciate any help I can get!
I have uploaded an ENG version and an FRish version that contains mostly the same English with just a little French so I could see something change onscreen in Rise.
