What is a dependency file? I get a message that it's not found.
This error might occur if the source file can not be found, either you are using just an SDLXLIFF and try to generate the target file, or maybe the package or the source file have changed location on your PC or where it was saved,

If your error message is accompanied by
“Would you like to browse for this XXX [i.e. the original] file?”.
- Please select the answer Yes if you have the source file on your PC, and locate the source file.
-If you are working on an SDLPPX - project package then please try with the steps from this article -https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001543
- If you are working on a project you have created then the best thing would be to recreate the project .
