Is the online editor a Trados 2021 feature only or is it possible to use in combination with GroupShare? Does the user need Trados software to be able to work in the online editor?
Online Editor is a feature that is also used with GroupShare, so it was not introduced with Trados 2021 in Trados Live Essential. Therefore, it was used and it's still being used with GroupShare, but it's not a default feature of GroupShare, however, it can be added to it. In GroupShare, Online Editor is available in 2 modules: Basic and Advanced. If the file you are trying to edit in Online Editor is also open in Trados Studio, please close Trados Studio to edit the file in Online Editor.
