Completing the question.

  • Hello Elevate Autumn 2021,

PDF's are by design difficult to handle, and we would ALWAYS recommend preprocessing such files outside of Studio.

By this, I mean converting the PDF to Word (outside of Studio) and ensuring the formatting is correct and everything required is properly extracted/formatted

Where possible- it's even best to ask for the original file, as correct pre-processing can take time.

There are numerous PDF converters available, such as Adobe

Another tool that you may find useful, is TransTools that help you prepare the file before import into Studio.

From within Studio, we also offer the IRIS PDF OCR support for Studio- which uses advanced technology.
