Licence transfer

Question

Hello, I'm about to buy a new laptop and I will need to transfer my existing Studio 2014 licence to it. How do I do it? Thank you, Nic

Hi Nicola, 
 
Please deactivate your Studio 2014 Freelance license first - in Studio - Help - Product Activation - Deactivate . 
Then download the software on a new computer form Downloads folder, install and activate with the same license code. 
 
Please make sure you allow at least 30 minutes after deactivation and reactivation on a new machine. That time is needed for our servers to catch up.

You would need to log in to SDL online account then download software from Downloads section.
