Hi everybody,
I would like to add a new source language in my SDL Trados 2017. I only have three and want to add a new one. Is this possible without uninstalling the software?
many thanksss

Hi Daniela Mochny Steven Whale, Paul
If reinstallating Studio does not do it, then changing the relevant entry in the PC's Registry will, as described here:
Registry-based 5 languages reset
Sandor contacted Installation help (described in detail in the above thread) and they changed a registry entry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\LDSRClient15 was renamed to LDSRClient15.old
Normally the above key would be reset by reinstalling Studio. If it doesn't then manually changing the key with Studio closed will achieve it and next time you open Studio you'll be prompted to add 5 languages.
Working on the Registry can be tricky so if you're not used to working on your Registry, it's probably best to contact Installation Help and give them the above Registry key address and ask them to do it.
All the best,
Ali
