How to activate Trados Studio 20147 after reinstalling Windows

Hi there,

I needed to reinstall Windows due to a issue with my hard drive. Now, I need to activate my Trados Studio 2017 license, but I cannot do that since it is in use. I've seen I should go to "Solution Finder" in KB, but I cannot find this tab.

How can I do? I need my license working again to deliver a project.

    Hi ,

    I have reset your licence so it is available to you. But you have an active Starter licence so I'm wondering if this is part of the problem. So, I reset both licence types. Please try again and activate the Studio Freelance licence with the correct code.

    Normally the way to get help is to contact the licencing team, not through the solution finder (must have been something very old that you read). For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

    Just fill in the form and submit it. Make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.
