Hi,
I was working with Trados till about 11pm last night and no problem. However, my laptop went funny when I was shutting it down so I will be getting it checked out again.
Could this have something to do with the fact that this morning Trados is asking me to set up again as if I have never used it?

I'm not sure what you mean by the 'laptop went funny' - was this a crash or had you not shut down the machine properly for a while?
In any case - sometimes the setup wizard will kick in after a major Windows update, or even an AntiVirus update.
So by running the wizard again, should not have any negative effects whatsoever.
