I can't start Studio

Question

Dear Studio 2017 users, 
 Is anyone experiencing the same issue as I am? All of a sudden I received this message when trying to launch Studio. 
 Is my computer hacked? I have a Plus version and have Studio 2017 installed on my desktop and laptop machines. I don't really understand the "unauthorized use" part, but for now the more important thing is to get this fixed and get my project delivered today.

I hope you also logged a case with the licensing team in addition to posting in here? 
 
But in the meantime, perhaps try renaming the lic file here: 
 
c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio5\Data\Studio.lic 
 
Then restart Studio. If that doesn't help please log a case. For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link: 
 
 gateway.sdl.com/liveagentlicensing 
 
You have two options: 
 
1. Submit a case using a webform 
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset 
 
You want to use the second option.

Hi Chunyi Chen , 
 
I suggest you try again. I just spoke to the chat team and they noted that they have been available on chat all evening and that you did contact them, but then while you were talking you seem to have logged out from the session and didn't try to connect again. Perhaps there's a connectivity issue your end. Can you try again as I'm sure the team will be able to help you out.
