Trying to reinstall SDL Trados 017. Error message "Suite Repair Utility could not be installed Error number -1" appearing after uninstalling SDL Trados Studio 2017.

Question

Dear Sirs, 
 
 the error message in the subject (Suite Repair Utility could not be installed Error number -1) keeps appearing once I uninstalled SDL Trados Studio 2017. Now I want to reinstall it or to uninstall the whole suite of SDL products but I'm stuck and I can't go either forward or backward. 
 This because I did not have the language French (France) among my languages, so I tried to reinstall Studio... 
 Can you help me as soon as possible? 
 
 By the way, I have a current license for your product but I'm having trouble contacting you in any way. 
 I also sent a message for this issue in Italian but I've got no response so far.

 I thought I would post the solution in community for anyone else with the same issue
