Trados on a Chromebook

Question

Can I install Trados on a Chromebook and does it work well? 
 I use Trados on my computer at home but I am looking for an option when I have to travel. 
 My old laptop is definitely to heavy and I was looking for a Chromebook option. So does anyone know if Trados is being supported and work well on a Chromebook?

A Chromebook is designed to handle web applications and not run thick clients, so the short answer is no. It doesn't have a windows operating system in the first place. 
 
However, you could (if you really want to) use remote desktop or something like that to access your desktop machine when you are away. But this relies heavily on you having a good internet connection at all times, and also leaving your desktop running while you are away. It's explained here:

If I was you I'd buy a decent windows laptop, there are plenty of good ones around that are small, light and fast.
