Hi, my name is Nic, I've just bought the upgrade from Studio 2014 Freelance to Studio 2017 Freelance and I have two questions on installation:

a) I'm confused as to what happens to my Studio 2014 licence once I download and install Studio 2017:

p. 27 of Trados Studio 2017 SR1 release notes says that 'After upgrading from SDL Trados Studio 2014 or 2011 to Trados Studio 2017 SR1, your original license will be automatically removed from your account.'

but SDL's online help chat told me: 'When upgrading, SDL allow you to continue using your previous version under certain criteria' (that I don't deactivate the 2014 licence, that I don't migrate to a new pc/upgrade my OS/reformat my hard drive).

Assuming I comply with the criteria, can I still continue to use the 2014 version if I want to?

b) after I download and install Studio 2017, will I be able to access and use my Studio 2014 TMs? How? Do I need to 'transfer' them to Studio 2017?
