It's fine, Studio 2019 has not been launched yet. As soon as it is, your licence activation code will appear under 'Licenses' in your SDL Account.

Thank you Alison. That makes some type of sense. If it wasn't launched yet, then it should not be available, indeed.

One would think that it isn't beyond the abilities of a software company to actually make that clear in the e-mail they send and not state a falsehood that incites the buyer to waste time.

Thank you for the link. I am asking for an e-mail address for practical reasons:
1. Because it takes less time and is more practical to send an e-mail message than to jump through the hoops to send a message by using the link.
2. Because that window does not permit the insertion of images.

As I was concerned about what message we might have been sending out, I followed this up and now know what you received was not a 'marketing mailer' but indeed the order (upgrade to 2019) confirmation- which is automatically sent from the system.

Again, although this was not a 'mailer'- I have spoken to the marketing team who are looking to re-word the 'order confirmations' so there can be no confusion between actual orders and upgrades and indeed 'pre-orders'.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience and confusion.
