Upgrade 2014 to 2015 not working

Question

Hello, 
 I recently got a call that I should upgrade vom 2014 to 2015 and was told that the upgrade is for free. I just tried to do it but I don't have an activation code for 2015 only the one for the 2014 version which doesn't work. 
 Is this upgrade really for free? And how can I get hands on the activation code?

After checking your account I can see that you have the Studio 2015 license available. 
If you have already installed Studio 2015- just log in to your SDL account- go to Product and Plans-> Licenses then you will see the activation code. 
Simply copy this- Start Studio 2015 and then when prompted, simply paste the activation code. 
 
You should now be good to go.

Yes you can of course- I'm assuming also you are installing Studio 2015 on the same machine?
If so simply point Studio 2015 to where you saved the folders (in Studio 2014.
Otherwise simply copy these over into the new machine.

Sorry about the delay in responding- I missed your response. 
 
I checked your orders and see that you received 2015 upgrade for free as part of your PSMA contract. 
This however required you deactivate the 2014 version in order to receive the 2015 activation code. 
To (re) activate Studio 2015- please log in to your SDL account/Licenses and copy the code that begins with 1e51*****. 
Now open Studio 2015 and when prompted for an activation code, paste the code from your account. 
 
Now you should be good to go.
