Question

Hello. I have purchased the SDL starter that I Installed in my PC and the day after have purchased the Freelance version. For some reason I am unable to make the freelance version work despite having downloaded de exec file of the freelance version. I can't find the wizard for the freelance in my PC and when I try to use the upgrade option in the desktop wizard of my starter version I get an error message saying that there is no available license for the Freelance activation code. I'm completely lost. Have you any idea of how I can get help for thi sproblem? Thank you.

Hello João Vasconcelos , 
 After checking your account, it would appear that both your Starter and Freelance version is showing as activated. 
 Normally (when upgrading) you will simplty deactivate the Starter license (Open Studio > Help Tab > License Activation> Deactivate. 
 Then reactivate the same software installation (no need to download the software again), but this time using the new 2019 Freelance license. 
 Please open your Studio license and try and deactivate as per above instructions. 
 Then log into your SDL account/Licenses and copy the code that begins with b4####### and try reactivating the software. 
 Did this work? 
 If not- please log a free licensing support ticket at https://gateway.sdl.com/liveagentlicensing 
 The licensing team will then be able to reset the license (removing the Starter version) and then you should be able to use the Freelance version correctly.
