I am planning to encrypt the hard disk of my laptop as an addtional security measure. The Studio 2017 program files are now on the C drive, but would it be possible to move them to another location (most likely OneDrive) before the hard disk is encrypted? And if the files have to stay on the C drive, will this not lead to problems with Studio 2017?
Except of very few setting files and the file Projects.xml NO Studio files have to be on a certain drive. You can place Studio files wherever you want.
I have an encrypted SD card in my Surface with all Studio files - you just need to remember to open the drive before you want to use Studio.
