  • Hi

You need to go to your SDL account online to download a copy of Studio 2014. Click here:

    My SDL account

Scroll down and click on 'Downloads'

Screenshot of the 'Downloads' section on SDL account page with a green download icon.

then you should see Studio 2014 and MultiTerm 2014 listed there.

Screenshot of the SDL Trados Studio 2014 and MultiTerm 2014 download links on the SDL account downloads page.

Download each of them by clicking on the 'Download' button.

As indicated, you don't need the MultiTerm Widget download unless you plan to deploy SDL MultiTerm Widget within your Enterprise.

Install Studio first and Multiterm second.

If you did not release your license before uninstalling, this should not matter unless you also removed the operating system.

If your license was not released and the Studio installation prompts you to enter your license key, you can return your license manually on the Licenses page of your SDL Account, here:

    Licenses

Screenshot of the SDL Trados Studio 2014 Freelance license details with an option to return the license.

Then use the number above 'SDL Trados Studio 2014 Freelance' (I've obscured mine in the above image) to license your new installation of Studio 2014.

If you have any issues with the installation or need help with your license, you can get help with this here:

    Liveagentlicensing

    Here's how it looks:

Screenshot of the 'Submit New Translation Productivity Case' page with options to submit a case or request a license reset.

For help with licensing, click on 'Request License Reset' and a live chat form should pop up, through which you can give details and someone will chat with you live.

If for any reason that doesn't happen, or if you need help as a result of your installing Studio, click on 'Submit Case' and a longer form will pop up. Fill out all the details, selecting 'Licensing' or 'Installation' at the 'Case type' line and giving your email address accurately as this is how you will be contacted.
Licensing issues are always dealt with within 24 hours.

    I hope this helps!
    All the best,
    Alison
