Buy SDL Trados Studio 2019 today with Mac but only use it later on a new laptop?

Hello, 
 I'm a beginning freelance translator an new to the scene. 
 Is it possible to purchase SDL Trados Studio 2019 with a Mac computer today, but only use the license later, on my (still to purchase) Dell Laptop? How does the purchase - activation process exactly work?

You can purchase a Studio license and activate this whenever you want.- There are no time limits. 
However as you have mentioned using Studio on a MAC- please read the following before buying-
