Problem after an update

Hi,

After installing the update of SDL Studio 2017 SR 1 this morning (I now have the following version: SDL Studio 2017 SR 114.1.10014.38031), the concordance search (F3) doesn’t work any more (an error message is displayed) and the content of the TM is not displayed (the corresponding window just displays "searching").
What can I do to solve these annoying issues?

Thank you for your help!

  • Hi

I'm repeating myself from a different thread...

It sounds as if something has interfered with your installation process, or it is being influenced in unexpected ways by other parts of your setup.

That which sometimes helps in such contexts is a Windows Repair. To run a Windows Repair of Studio, via Control Panel...

    - Close all SDL applications.

    - Open the Control Panel via Windows button>Windows System>Control Panel:
Windows 10: Right-click on Start (Windows button) >Windows System > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features.

    - Click/highlight the relevant SDL product in the list (e.g. SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR1) and click Repair.

    - Restart Studio.

The above and other more deep-rooted reset procedures are given in the link below:

Let us know if none of the above 'housekeeping' methods resolve your issues.

    All the best,
    Ali
