After updating Trados 2019, I cannot open it

Question

I have tried to update my Trados 2019, it has removed the ancient one and than didn't install it at all. 
 Now I cannot open it

 Can you check in Control Panel/Programs and features- Search for SDL Studio2019 SR1 
 
 The right click and then REPAIR. 
 If you are prompted to reboot the machine during installation, then click OK to allow the reboot. 
 Does Studio now Start for you?

This sounds as though the installation did not complete correctly- 
 
Please take a look at the following- 
 gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge 
and manually install the .msi as described. 
 
This should get you back up and running.

I would suggest you log a case and have a support engineer help you with this. For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

You have two options: 
 
1. Submit a case using a webform 
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset 
 
You want to use the first option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.
