My computer needs to restore due to a technical problem. Do I need to deactivate Trados Studio on the computer before restoration? Or, can I deactivate it through my account in SDL website?

Hello AIAI,
If you can access the software I would suggest that you deactivate it. Open Studio and go to the Help Tab. You will see there the option for Product Activation. Click on it and a window for the deactivation will pop up. This is the best way to do it. After you reinstall everything on your PC you can log in your SDL account, download the installer for your version of Studio and install the software.
