Hello everyone.
In my company we have an installation of SDL Groupshare on a windows server, this server is old, slow and doesnt work very well.
Like a year ago "someone" (not me, sence im new to this company), started to install an update to SDL Groupshare and this update failed and did something to our server.
I dont know what went wrong, this update might have broke the TM-service (we want to start use it but it dosent work now).
And i cant ask he who did this due to the fact that he dosnt work here anymore.
What i want to do is to do a "side by side" installation of SDL Groupshare and migrate all the data from the old server to the new server.
So to my questions:
Is this possible to do and still not break the license agrement and so on?
What/how is the recomended way to do this, is it just to backup all the databases and connect them to the new server?
How do i backup all the data that our users have created?
Best regards
Tobbe
