The requested data file could not be located

Question

I have SDL Trados Studio 2017 and I can launch it. A window saying "The requested data file could not be located" pops up. Any help would be appreciated thank you

 If you are unable to find the correct file, this is probably because the app data roaming folder is 'hidden'. 
 Open File Explorer- go to view and then enable 'Hidden Items'. 
 Now you should be able to navigate to the correct folder.

Hello Ms Zisimou Katerina ,, 
 This is error is normally associated with being unable to access a TM. 
 To resolve this- Close all Studio a[applications- 
 Navigate to the following folder- 
 for Studio 2017 : C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0 
 Locate this file: TranslationMemoryRepository.xml and rename it to TranslationMemoryRepository_old.xml 
 Now restart Studio and the error should no longer pop up.
