Error 5100 installing .NET Framwork 4.7.1. on Windows 8 64 bits.

I have this error installing Trados. I've seen other similar threads in this forum but I can't solve it with the solutions proposed.

I need Trados to finish a translation Master I study this year.

So I thank you to help me with this trouble.

I post the screenshots.

  • Try a manual install by installing the separate modules one by one from these locations:

    c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\Dependencies\

    c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosStudio2019\modules\

    It could also be that:
    - There is a problem with the 4.7.1 version installed on your machine and a repair of that .NET instance should be done.
    - There is a problem with the Windows image on that machine

    But if all of this seems a bit complicated I would recommend you log a case so a support engineer can look at this for you.  For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

    gateway.sdl.com/liveagentlicensing

    You have two options:

    1. Submit a case using a webform
    2. Use live chat to get a licence reset

    You want to use the first option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.
