Hi folks,

I am very new to Trados, and have only been running it for a week, doing short, individual files, so bear with me.

I run Trados on a Mac using Parallels. My Trados now refuses to open, because, when it loads the application window, it stops and gives me an error message, saying that it cannot load a project (the last one I completed) because it can't find part of the path. The program then stops opening. This happened once when I was training on it, and it would make the program crash, so I just threw out the project file, and that fixed it. But here I can't even get into the program. I did throw out the project file, emptied the trash (on the Mac side), shut down Windows, and restarted the computer, but that didn't change anything.

So, any suggestions as to what I should do?

Should I just uninstall Trados and start over? And should I store all my Trados-related work on the PC side of my computer to shorten the path to avoid this problem happening again?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
