Windows 10 Sync Center causing problems

I used file-based TMs and TBs as the only Studio User in my organisation. Currently I am working from home (for the currently prevalent reason), and have been having increasing crashes due to the combination of Sync Center in Windows 10 and VPN Tunnel instability. Are there any recommended best practices for how to eliminate some of the Sync Center issues (I have to manually resolve them often 2-3 times a day and they sometimes lead to my TMs becoming inaccessible or SDL Studio 2019 crashing).

It seems that the files most affected are:

  • A lock file from MultiTerm
  • My largest TM 

Any bright ideas or suggestions (that I can pass on to my remote support).
