How frequently can I deactivate/reactivate my 2021 licence, please?

I have recently purchased Studio 2021. I work alone and use a desktop and a laptop when I'm travelling or working outside my office.  I bought one licence as I can only physically work on one computer at a time. However, during the purchase process, I asked for advice on various topics and was told that if I activate/deactivate frequently - weekly for instance - my licence will become corrupt and I will have to purchase a new one.

Can anyone please tell me if this is actually true and, if so, how frequently I can safely activate/deactivate without falling foul of this rather peculiar restriction?

    No, that advice is nonsense. The activation/deactivation is so easy these days it's designed to be used in this way.

    More nonsense.  Even if it did become corrupt you will not be required to purchase a new one.  We just fix it!  You can log a support case, or come in here and we can log one for you, and the support team can resolve a licensing problem pretty quickly.

    If you are still concerned then you also have the option to purchase a Freelance Plus licence so you actually have two licences that can be activated and then you don't need to do the deactivate/activate at all.
