Client PC unable to reach License Server

Our client PC is no longer able to reach the license server and we need some assistance.  The server was down for 24 hours, and we think this may be the issue.  The server is back up and everything appears fine, but the client can no longer reach the license server.  The hostname and IP address is unchanged, but the client software cannot connect to the server.  The user can ping the server, but again the Studio client is unable to reach it.
