This is probably an issue with your antivirus blocking the installation.

Please try turning the antivirus off and installing Multiterm Desktop with administrative rights.

You can turn the antivirus on again after the installation is completed.

thank you very much for your help. I have tried to follow your indications and I deactivated my antivirus, but this time a different error message appeared (in attachment). Do you think it is related to administrative rights? I'm quite sure I have them but maybe I have some wrong setting on my pc..

Still access denied (although to a different path)

Please try the following.

Install 7zip (link below) and after installing it right click the Multiterm Installer, navigate to 7zip and select "Extract here". You should get Dependencies folder and a SDLMultiTermDesktop2021 folder. Open the SDLMultiTermDesktop2021 folder\ Modules sub folder and install all 4 executable files by simply double clicking on them. Multiterm should be installed after taking these steps.
