Trados Studio is a 32-bit application.  It is not a 64-bit application.  There is nothing wrong with your installation.

Correct.  The advantage you'll get of having a 64-bit system is that Studio can be allocated the maximum amount it can use as a 32-bit and you can still run other applications at the same time without affecting it.  But Studio can't take advantage of 64-bit itself.

That is clear Paul. However, for me the questioning about the 32/ 64 installation started with the OutOfMemory exception on building a new project and importing not so large PDF file. Sorry for not responding for a while, but I was doing some more attempts. Finally I split the PDF into fragments and the import of that went well. Now I continue my exploration of Studio with no concerns about 32 / 64 bit issue. Thanks!
