In order to deactivate your license, you would have to follow the instructions from this KB article: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039271 - the deactivation needs to be performed on both PCs where Studio is activated.

As you can see, the available process is for multiple versions.

I am not able to do so, because the laptop I had activated the first license died a few weeks back and the technician replaced the HHD, meaning I have no Trados and no license to deactivate in it :( Now I have a new work laptop and the old laptop with new HHD and without Trados in it. 

What I did yesterday was: I upgraded from freelance plus 2019 to 2021 and then downloaded it in the new laptop; activated it and working fine. 
Now I would like to use the 2nd license I paid for (freelance 2019 or I don't know if the freelance plus 2021 upgrade) in the broken laptop, but it requires me to deactivate the active license which I can't really do because that laptop has a new HDD.
