Hi,
I purchased a Trados 2019 freelance plus license which included the Trados 2021 upgrade. I have a laptop and a desktop. Trados 2019 is currently installed on my laptop and I wanted to upgrade to 2021 have both versions side by side. My desktop is in storage, so I don't have any Trados versions installed on it yet.
I was going to proceed with the upgrade, so I went to my profile and selected the "upgrade" option, however, when I got to the last page of the upgrade process I canceled it because of this warning:
"Upgrading means the license(s), indicated below on the left, will be removed and will be replaced with the license(s) shown on the right. This process can not be reversed."
I understand from this message that from this point onwards I will no longer have a Trados 2019 license but a Trados 2021 license instead. So, how could I install the second copy of Trados 2019 that comes with the freelance plus package I originally bought, and activate it on my desktop when I get it back (it would have to be an installation from scratch) if I upgrade now to Trados 2021? I understand I will lose my Trados 2019 license in favor of a Trados 2021 one, so, do I need to wait to install and activate Trados 2019 on my desktop first before upgrading? or is there any other way?
Thanks,
Regards
