MultiTerm v2019 install/uninstall error

Hello SDL Support Team,
I am writing as I have run into some problems with MultiTerm (Trados working fine though).
When trying to open a termbase in Trados for a project, it would shut down Trados. Within Multiterm it wouldn't open up a new termbase, etc.
I therefore tried restarting it, turning computer on and off, no luck.
Because of an error message telling me about a more recent version, I figured I'd uninstall and then reinstall using the original zip my Heriot-Watt teacher sent me.
However, now that I've uninstalled all 4 Multiterm programmes, one thing remains: SDL MultiTerm 2019 - Remove suite of products.
It refuses to be removed, displaying an error message.Error message from SDL MultiTerm 2019 setup stating 'Setup did not complete. The error is: Setup has detected a higher version of this product already installed. If you still wish to install this version, you must remove the other version first.' with an OK button.
And when I try to re-install MultiTerm using the .exe file from original zip, it also gives me that error message saying I have a more recent version and need to uninstall that first...
and have deleted all these:
c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLMultiTermDesktop2019\
c:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm15\
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm15\
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm15\
But it still gives me the same error message when I try and re-install MultiTerm.
