Dear Support Team,
I am using Trados Studio 2011 since 2013 on the same computer. 2 days before, the hard disc of my computer was damaged and I had to have a new one. I tried to install Trados Studio 2011, but I got a message that I have to active the license. I inserted the activation code, but I got a message that another device is using this license.
No, I cannot deactivate the license from the damaged hard disc. An IT technician has tried to help me to deactivate it. He could reach the software on the damaged hard disc, but could not deactivate it at all. The hard disc does not respond any more.
I cannot find the license online, as I am using a new e-mail, which is different from the e-mail used to buy the product on 2013.
Please find attached a file including a screen shot of the activation code sent by SDL on 2013 and the message indicating that the license is already used on another device (which is the damaged hard disc).
Would you please help me fix this problem.
