a problem with Trados 2019 Freelance - it suddenly closes down in the middle of translating

Dear Producer

I was referred here by your Polish representative office as I complained to them about the constant and pesky problem with Trados 2019 Freelance.

I'm writing to you to express my deem dissatisfaction with the quality of this version. It keeps closing down in the middle of my work, out of the ordinary, and sometimes during one big translation job and during one day of work I have to open the software e.g. 15 times! Your Polish reps tried to help, but to no avail. Any patches I downloaded don't help either.

That's why I would like to make a complaint about this version. I spent a lot of money on the update so it doesn't make sense to me now coming back to the previous version which worked well...

Consequently, I kindly request you to:

1. efficiently and promptly solve my problem, maybe remotely via e.g. TeamViewer

2. refund my money for this update if I'm not able to use it with its full functionality

3. update my version for free to another one, which will work properly, like the old ones.

I hope this matter will received your immediate attention and be dealt with as soon as possible.

  • Trados 2019 (SR2 - 15.2.7.2849). Please try to solve this problem as fast as possible. I can't work at a normal pace because of this. I replied to you by email as I was not aware I have to reply here...

  • I have the following versions:

    SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 15.2.8.3007 this is the latest version, isn't it?

    SDL MultiTerm 2019 Desktop 15.0.55976

    Because of Trados 2019 failure, for the last 12 months I used Trados 2015 but now it is more and more problematic because of problems with incompatibility with new Word and Excel files docx etc. It keeps generating errors.

    So I hope you will solve my problem urgently as I've been left without the basic work tool now....

    Trados 2015 worked perfectly on my laptop and also my laptop was inspected by an IT specialist who said that it is not laptop's fault that Trados 2019 collapses...

Over a year I have had a problem with Trados 2019 which keeps closing down in the middle of my work, out of the ordinary, Here I could also read that IT IS NOT ONLY MY PROBLEM. So there must be something wrong with the software. Any patches/upgrades I downloaded don't help either.

    That's why I would like to make a complaint about this version. I spent a lot of money on the update and IT'S USELESS.

    Consequently, I kindly request you to:

    1. efficiently and PROMPTLY solve my problem, maybe remotely via e.g. TeamViewer - I'm deprived of my basic work tool now!

    2. refund my money for this update if I'm not able to use it with its full functionality

    3. update my version for free to another one, which will work properly, like the old ones.

    I hope this matter will received your immediate attention and be dealt with as soon as possible. It is pathetic that such an expensive product has such a poor quality customer service.....
