I'm using an external USB monitor with Laptop. After activating SDL Trados 2021 on my Laptop with attaching USB monitor, then close the trados app and disconnects the USB monitor, the license is revoked(Vice versa).

You have purchased the subscription version which means Studio is activated via your cloud subscription
When you start Studio, you need to click the Language Cloud Subscription tab in the activation window.

It's not what I'm asking. Of course,, I activated via cloud subscription.
I'm using ASUS laptop with a usb monitor attached(Occasionally).
1. On laptop with a usb moniotr connected, I activated SDL trados 2021 via cloud subscription successfully.
2. But, after disconnecting that usb monitor, (when I launched trados again)the activation was revoked.
3. I tried to re-activate via cloud subscription, trados says 'already activated on another device', so I couldn't activate it.
4. After re-connecting a usb monitor(meaning 'original configuration'), I tried to re-activated it, but it doesn't work.
It's all on the same ASUS laptop(with USB monitor, or without USB monitor).
And this is 'Vice Versa'.
The only solution was to delete the connected device on 'my language cloud account>Manage My Account> Connected Devices',
So, do I have to activate and deactivated the license whenever I connect or disconnect USB monitor?

I cannot see how a USB screen would affect the activation and have not seen this reported before,so I would be keen to learn what might trigger this.
On which screen do you keep Studio open on? The main screen or the USB extended screen?
If you dont use the USB screen- does Studio work fine?
What is the main screen resolution, and the resolution of the second screen?

1. I keep studio open on main laptop display(But as I think, that's not important.)
2. No, it's not. If I changed the configuration(with, or without USB monitor) after the activation, the only solution was to delete the connected device on 'my language cloud account>Manage My Account> Connected Devices', Or, inside Studio app, deactivate the license before I change the configuration, then re-activate it on the changed configuration whenever I connect or disconnect USB monitor. If I forget to de-activate the license before changing configuration, I have to visit 'my language cloud account' to delete the connected device. It's annoying.
3. Main screen resolution is 4K, USB monitor is FHD.
I also found that same problem occurred when connecting USB portable SSD Storage or USB hub(which has a card reader and HDMI port, and s recognized as a device on Device manager)..
