I would like to cancel my 1 year subscription so that I can purchase the regular one.

Yesterday I hurriedly purchase the one-year subscription, but the program did not work and I lost an opportunity to participate in an urgent translation project. 

For the following weeks, I won't be using the trados studio, as there are few chances to find large scale projects requiring the use of trados. But whether I use it or not, the subscription will be valid, which would be just a waste of time for me.

I want to cancel this subscription immediately and instead consider purchasing the (regular) freelance version for individual translators.
