If you know that you have got an activation code for Trados Studio 2021 then you use this in the same place as you do for 2017... there has been no change.

Thanks for your advice. I definitely received an activation code for Trados Studio 2021 after upgrading from the 2017 version according to the steps outlined on this page: https://www.sdltrados.com/store/upgrades.html.

I encounter the problem when I attempt to copy and paste the new licensing code into the Studio 2021 application after downloading it. Clicking on  'Product Activation' in the Help section in the application, brings up this window:

Am I right in thinking that in order to activate my freelance license ('Perpetual License'),  I need to click on the 'Activate' button and input my new activation code?

Because this is what I have attempted to do and where I receive the error message: 'Activation failed. No licenses are currently available for the specified activation code.'

I did, in my worry-mode, press 'Reset License' to see if that would help me in some way, but I fear I have made things even more complicated.

Any other help would be much appreciated.

PS: I should add that my SDL account indicates that my license is in use.
