Is this a project you got from someone else?  Looking at your Studio version I'd say this is someone else's project where they used a feature that is out of the box in 2019 and 2021, but it's not available for 2017.

ok... on investigating it seems there are a couple of things at play.  First of all the message you see is aesthetic, it effected 2017 and we have it logged under our reference CRQ-8202.  However, this won't ever be fixed as 2017 isn't supported anymore.

But more importantly why aren't you getting any results?  I can reproduce this problem myself and I think it's related to the changes we have made since we no longer offer the old SMT (Statistical Machine Translation) and Adaptive MT that we did when 2017 was released.  Today we only support NMT (Neural Machine Translation) and 2017 doesn't have support for this.

You may have some success using this plugin as it may allow you to access the free NMT in 2017:

But even this plugin is no longer maintained and doesn't offer the same features as we have for the same plugin in 2019/2021, mainly because the 2017 version of Studio simply won't support them.  So if you do have problems with this they may be unfixable.

Thanks, Paul, I'll review this and I'll check tonight. It makes sense as I did not work for some months (a year or so) and I'm back now... 

I'll update here whenever I have tested this.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the advice. I have dowloaded and installed CU18 + the plugin you mentioned. It works now.

I first was able to get the translation proposal segment by segment only , as the pre-batch did not translate the whole document - but finally I found the right parameters to do that.
