Trados 2021 and 2019 on 2 different pcs

I've read interesting threads about the same topic, but I still have some questions.

What if my pc suddenly stopped working (unfortunately, I'm afraid this might soon happen), would I be able to activate my actual license on another device? I also have a Trados 2019 license and I need to know:

  1. How the two licenses could be integrated? 
  2. How could I transfer Trados 2019 to another pc? Is the procedure the same I should follow for Trados 2021?

  • If you're PC suddenly stopped working before you could deactivate your licences then it's no problem.  You can reset the licences yourself by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for SDL Trados 2019 and 2021.

    Use this KB article ( gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge ) and follow the instructions.

    If you have a problem with that then you would simply report your problem into this forum (without providing any personal details... we already have them as you have to be logged in to create a post) and we will convert this into a support case so the licensing team help reset this for you.

    Then all you do is activate the product in the new PC. No transfer necessary.
