When starting Trados, it says the license is expired and won't activate even though I copy & paste the activation code from my SDL account. Please reactivate immediately. Also, this type of assistance does not belong in a public forum and the issue should not happen at all.

The SDL Community is probably the easiest and quickest way to get help for most issues if you don't have a support contract (SMA).
We can normally help you direct with most ;licensing and installation issues (such as this one)
You haven't mentioned though which license is showing as expired- 2019 or 2021
If you need to reset your Studio 2019 license you can do so via your account as follows.
Should you have downloaded and installed Studio 2021 (and its the trial now expired) you simply need to follow the upgrade process
