updated Trados 2021 to SR1 now error message. Can't access anymore

Question

Hi, 
 i just downloaded and installed the December update to Trados 2021. On startup an error message saying: 
 "The license key is not valid for this device. Try again with a different device or contact your administrator." apprears and I cannot access the software anymore. Trados Live still works though. 
 Tried resetting the licence as someone suggested and it said there is no licence to reset. 
 What's gone wrong?

Hello Sonia Torretta , 
 You have a 12 month subscription- so no activation code is required. 
 When you start Studio- please select Language Cloud Subscription to activate Studio

 As Steven mentioned, you have a subscription and this is how you activate Studio. 
 However, the upgrade might have changed some things. If that does not work, please see below:

 If this does not work, here are a few more steps: 
 *Make sure Studio is closed 
 1. Copy/paste this path in Windows File Explorer: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16 . 
 2. Delete any file with the name LanguageCloudMachineTranslation.bin 
 
 *This resets the Language Cloud credentials on your computer 
 
 3. Activate Studio using your Freelance Subscription (as shown by Steven)
