Question

Dear all, 
 I just cloned my hard drive to make my PC faster, so now I have two disks on the same PC, I wanted to open Studio but it prompts me to enter my licence code. Now, if I do that, how can I be sure that I will not use the second licence? 
 I still have to install Studio 2021 in my laptop (that is what the Freelance plus is meant for, one for my desktop pc and one for laptop), so I do not want to lose my second activation for this. 
 Can someone please help me? How can I solve this issue?

Hello Irene Berri , 
 You should be starting Studio from the default C: drive- which will only require one activation code. 
 However if you have cloned the HDD and have Studio installed on both, these would act as separate installs and require separate activations. 
 I would suggest removing Studio from the cloned drive and only use the default installation on C: 
 Trying to duplicate the drive, may otherwise corrupt the license/activation.
