Studio crashes due to "Unknown Hard Error" after installation of V2019 SR2 15.2.8.3007

I updated my Studio 2019 to SR2 a few days ago and the app has been crashing several times per day ever since. Sometimes I get a popup like this:

but most of the time it just crashes and the application window disappears without further warning.

The crashes are triggered by a variety of actions - I've encountered them when opening a file, confirming a segment, and running the F8 QA check.

It's really making me regret updating to the latest service release. Is anyone else having problems?
