Hello,
My old computer hard disk failed and I can no longer access SDL to deactivate it there. How can I install it on the laptop I bought and activate it for use? Please help me.
Also please let me know if it has different versions for Mac OS and Windows. My new laptop is a Mac.

You can reset your license from your SDL account as described in this article: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0038545
You can download and then install Studio from your SDL account under "Products & Plans" -> "Downloads" or directly from the following link: : ftp://sdlpatches:5dlpatch35@ftp-emea.sdlproducts.com/SDL_TP/Studio2017_CUs/Studio2017SR1_CU18.zip
You can`t install Studio directly on Mac as Studio only works on Windows operating system. Please refer to below articles too see how to install it on Mac.

If you managed to install Windows on Mac we can help with the Studio installation and activation. Please let us know if this is the case.
Unfortunately we can`t help with the Windows installation on Mac as this is not SDL related, this needs to be done by an IT person if you can`t do it.
