Good afternoon
I am looking for a license for three units instead of just two, as I for several reasons (mainly covid-19) have three different workplaces. In a chat with an SDL co-worker I was told that I could maybe deactivate the license and reactivate it when needed, but that the license is likely to be corrupted because of this. Why is this? I'd only need to do this every three week or so. Is it possible?

As you are aware, the Freelance PLUS license allows you to activate Studio on any TWO none-domain connected PC's.
You can however install the software on as many PC's as you wish- as long as only two are activated at any one time.
In this particular case, simply deactivate Studio on the PC you are currently working on, and then when you get to your next place of work, simply access your SDL account- Start Studio on the 3rd machine and reactivate.
Between deactivation on one machine and reactivation on another, we always suggest to leave at least half an hour, to ensure the servers are updated correctly.
If you wish to have three PC's activated all at the same time, you will need an extra license as additional activations for Freelance (PLUS) are not available.
